The GameBoy Mod is a palette mod made by 8JKN4. It tries to color all assets to black, white, and two shades of grey, similar to how games on a Game Boy console may look. Roll Over Bass is a mod made by Objectionable in an effort to replace all of Bass' sprites with those of Roll's. The mod is mostly finished, working exclusively in 1.5.5.1. However, Roll lacks sprites for the following actions and will switch back to Bass' sprites momentarily when performing any of them: using the Flame Sword, swinging on a pole with Thunder Claw, and the victory animations for finishing a level other than the default one. This was done due to a lack of time on the creators' part. This mod has now become obsolete since Roll was added in 1.7.0.
The sprites of Roll were created by BushBacon and used with permission.

Roll-Chan Maker is an unfinished mod currently on hold being created by Proto Man V (known as Snake Man on the Wiki). It is planned to replace the logo with a custom one and replace Mega Man with Roll. It is very similar to the Roll Over Bass mod.
Proto Man V plans to add two more custom playable characters in future updates and has already decided on one of them. However, he decided to put the mod's development on hold only two days after development began due to the difficulty involved in replacing characters in Mega Man Maker. He still plans on returning to development some day but is focusing on other projects right now.
The 'Roll-Chan' part of the title is a reference to a series of Mega Man ROM hacks of the same name by Zynk Oxhyde which replace Mega Man with Roll. This mod is not endorsed by Zynk, however.

The Game Boy/MM&B Mod, not to be confused with 8JKN4's mod of the same name, is a mod by UlticraftMTT which replaces assets throughout the first 6 games with NES-colored assets from the 5 Game Boy games. The mod also replaces Mega Man 8 content with Mega Man & Bass content, and Mega Man 9 Endless tiles and backgrounds with ones from Rockman & Forte: Mirai kara no Chōsensha.
The mod also has a feature wiki, with every modified tileset, background, and their custom descriptions displayed.

Mega Man X Maker VII was created by Red1Fouad as an asset and music replacement mod.
The mod replaces many sprites and tilesets with Mega Man X ones, and changes some of the music to Mega Man 7 tracks. This mod makes the game reads SPC music files instead of NSF files, while some of them take music from the Mega Man X video game series.
Red1Fouad decided to stop working on it in order to focus on other mods.

Mega Man Maker First Impact originally named Croby's Mod, is an ongoing mod that changes many assets in the game and adds in brand new level objects, as well as new weapon and enemy behaviors. The mod is still in development with many changes being made to it over the time it has been out. Croby plans to make the mod compatable with 1.7.0.
Due to being a gameplay mod that has new assets, WreckingPrograms helped Croby with not letting people with the mod be able to upload levels to the Mega Man Maker server.
Mega Man Maker First Impact was the first Mega Man Maker mod to change actual in-game behavior instead of solely aesthetics.

Jeff Extravaganza is a mod by babyjeff that aims to change as much of the vanilla game experience as possible while still staying compatible with all preexisting levels and features, allowing for the complete usage of online play.
The mod features characters and assets from official Mega Man games, fangames, and more, and includes replaced sound effects and an NSF pack.
It was released on January 6, 2021 for 1.6.3 along with a trailer.[1] A 1.7.4.3 version is currently in the works, with no set release date planned.

Mega Man Perfect Blue Maker was created by Red1Fouad as an asset and music replacement mod using assets and music based off of Mega Man Perfect Blue by RRThiel.
The mod replaces many sprites and tilesets with Mega Man Perfect Blue styled ones. The mod swaps out Bass for an original character. It also includes the Robot Master originally cut from Mega Man, Bond Man, replacing Crash Man. Bond Man has mostly the same entities as Crash Man except the fact that his projectiles can freeze the player. This makes Mega Man Maker Perfect Blue the second mod to change existing properties of assets.
Red1Fouad cancelled the project to continue working on other projects.

Mega Man Maker 1.Infinity, sometimes shortened to 1.∞, is an asset replacement mod made by Plasma Admin that changes the palette of tiles, backgrounds, enemies, and other objects to resemble Wily 1 Tile 3 from Mega Man 10. While not currently in development, it aims to continue as soon as modding tools for versions 1.7.0 and above become available.
